Inside all of us there is something that we do not accept, that we are ashamed of, and that spoils our relation with other people. And it of course reveals itself when we do not want it. However, we try again and again with hope for change, for success.
„In this performance there is no showing off, no easy solutions and either no perfectionism. Each movement has sense, it completes the story. It’s an original, manly vision of a world, where you again and again behave the same way, even if you try different. It’s a deep performance about looking for love.”

“The dancers’ expression, originality and cooperation of all theatrical components – this is what we can say about “again and again” by Lublin Dance Theatre. Since the very first scene the subject and the style were clear. In the actors’ rush around the stage I could see people striving forgetfully to become perfect in various domains of life. I was delighted by the dancers’ energy, and the chorographical lecture about human psyche reminded me about the potency of the theatre of movement.”

„Is it possible to express your soul by dancing? Working at Culture Centre Lublin Dance Theatre proved that it is. The newest “again and again” is the longest and the most compound of the pieces created by Ryszard Kalinowski till today. Three persons look for help for their souls. Beata Palka, Wojciech Kapron and the choreographer are absolutely perfect in dance, both in the most attractive lyrical sequences as well as in those dynamic ones, showing the moments of crisis. They show their declared chase after the change and their pursuit – again and again – after self reparation. Their precise dancing opens the space for associations and interpretations, because everyone leads here their own private game.
Looking for perfection, the sense of life and love through dance has become a great success of the performers and the choreographer. One can leave after the performance with important thoughts and questions.”
Andrzej Molik “Kurier Lubelski”, Poland
